Yesterday
belonged to you. Today, I would say -No.- Beneath the bridge and across the
trees, lies the place I used to call home. I was so scared to dare to leave! Had
I known the world outside, across the trees and over the bridge, I would’ve never
stayed under those dirty sheets. This is the place I used to know, this is the
place I used to run to in search of hope. Now, standing over these old rocks,
shelter of storm and loss, I can feel the cold chilling breeze against my
chicken skin. I can feel the freezing air and the warmth of the rising sun. And
the longer I look, the further I can see. There’s always been so much of the
world I would miss! Well, not today, not while there’s so much waiting for
these curious eyes to meet.
